A comfortable place to have a rest on your way to the south of Chile. It is located in the small town of Coyhaique not far away from the plaza de Armas, the only one in Chile in a form of a pentagon. You also have a beautiful view of the mountains around the hostel. Our rooms are furnished lovingly so that every visitor feels at home. A clean bathroom with warm water, breakfast with homemade whole-grain bread and a heater for the cold days are inviting in you for a stay. In addition, we offer free Internet access (WiFi). We are also able to arrange trips for you including kayak rentals (-> Sandra and Thomas welcome you with cosy flair, german beds and native style in lovely Patagonia.

We have 10 beds, which consist of two double rooms and one dorm with 6 beds. In the common room you'll find a computer with Internet access you can use anytime. If you have any questions (including information about what to do in the surrounding area) we'll be available.

The Balmaceda international airport is near Coyhaique. To get to our hostel from the airport there is the possibility of using one of the transportation transfers, which offer you a ticket directly at the baggage claim. The prices are all the same regardless of the transfer you choose. For 5.000 CLP they take you directly to our hostel when you tell them the address. We cooperate with "Velasquez".

Different countries, different languages and different cultures...

Patagonia Hostel. What is the right word for it? We call it also Bed & Breakfast, but sometimes people spell it bed and breakfast, bed 'n' breakfast or B&B. In some countries it would rather be called guest house, guesthouse, guest rooms, hospedaje, hostal, homestay, backpacker, home-stay, private-stay, lodging and so on. Not that easy! We tried finding the right word for it, but in different English speaking countries and even in different parts of the world, there seem to be different words for quite similar means of accommodation. Well, there might be minor technical differences, but for us, they all seem to mean pretty much the same thing and don't keep us from making your stay with us in Coyhaique as pleasant as possible.
